Only this motion picture of Mark Twain survives, made by Thomas Edison in 1909. Edison visited Twain at his home, Stormfield, in Redding, Connecticut. Twain's two surviving daughters, Clara and Jean, join him for refreshments on the veranda. Jean would die before year's end, and Twain in April 1910. Clara lived until 1962.
