Greenhouse is an inspiring short film that tells the story of the transformative power of youth, community building and conservation in Toronto's social housing residences. Greenhouse explores how community and youth are at the root of tangible solutions and change in our fight to save the environment.

Greenhouse is part of a Community Champion Program, delivered by the Social Housing Services Corporation, Green Light on a Better Environment (GLOBE) , and Toronto Hydro Electric System. This peer-led program, takes a unique approach to changing behaviour by educating and engaging social housing residents and staff in activities to help develop a culture of conservation.

Greenhouse follows three Community Champions, their families and neighbours and shows us how their dedication and enthusiasm can help fix past mistakes to create more healthy and sustainable environments for tomorrow. It is a compelling and hopeful film that will inspire the change agent in all of us.
