    I used the Sony Z1U. Its an amazing camera but kind of pricey. If you got the money its worth it. The Panasonic HVX200 seems to be a workhorse in the industry as well. It shoots DVCPRO HD. With this camera and a 35mm lens adapter you will be on your way to creating amazing pieces. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive camera try the HV20, or its big brother the HV30. Those cameras can produce an amazing image for a fraction of the price.
