35mm Test II
I haven't changed anything hardware-wise since my last test, but I fiddled around with the camera settings for low light and such.
I also actually edited this one with real editing software (Vegas) although I wasn't terribly pleased and so I think I'll be using Avid Xpress from here on out. It was put through a 24p conversion with Magic Bullet in After Effects. Because of some issues with that it ended up getting compressed twice, but it still looks pretty good.
Now I need to do some outdoor shots with a longer lens and a tripod.

I've pretty much concluded that unless you get lucky and manage to find just the right object to use as a focus screen, a spinning adapter becomes very impractical. The best I managed was a CD sprayed with "window frost" paint and then covered in scotch tape. Still wasn't great.
I've decided to switch to a vibrating focus screen using a real 35mm focus screen. Projects been on hold due to funds though.
