The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued a draft of the regulations that will govern the gas drilling industry, IF allowed in New York State. The proposed regulations are sickeningly inadequate, and the agency is far too under-staffed to even enforce them. The public comment period is until Dec.12, this is our LAST CHANCE to express our concerns and fears.
