Léogâne, Haiti - habitat.org/cwp/2011/

Nearly two years after the 2010 earthquake, Habitat for Humanity has served nearly 28,000 families in Haiti. For this year's 28th Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, the goal was to complete 100 homes in the Santo Community.

This video is basically a week's worth of experiences condensed into 5.5 minutes. And there's definitely a lot that I left out!

The clips of each day were shot each morning that we arrived on the work site. The space you see around the core houses that we built will allow the families to expand when their finances improve. The orange colored units with colored trim are latrines, and each home will have it's own. The big space in the center of each block serves as a community area and will allow the families to plant crops since the area used to be a sugarcane field.

Video footage shot on my Flip and my iPhone 3GS.
