Messing around with the motion tracking tools in After Effects then using the Trapcode Particular plugin to get the light trails, smoke clouds etc. (like the old ipod commercials!)

    it's an old trick but a very cool (and beautiful trick)

    (bump up the particle rate OR render at double resolution and half again to smooth out the curves)

    i liked the start too. think that would also look good if you were walking backwards with the camera staying the same distance from you and following you, give better effect to the trails going towards the camera....nice vid
