L M Sextant 2 years ago[the following is my response to a comment left by another member she has since deleted and left me her opinion of my opinion of her opinion in an email, instead of leaving it here for all to see. Oh well, i thought we cud have some fun. To sum up, Allison stated that she felt this looked like a film school student did it and that the camera angles were all wrong blah blah...] Your way to technically minded to appreciate this Alison. please dont ever grace us with a choice to be a director. while the actors are trying to find their inner connection to a role, you wud be interrupting the peace and solitude by running around checking and rechecking the lightbulb in the shower. this and most films have first and formost a journey of emotion and feelings for the audience. its simplicity is pourposeful and powerful. this is a stretch for natalie and you can see that she was struggling, but that is how she will grow, or really just get back to what a great actess she was when she first started and wasnt all taken with the hollywood b.s. Your probably even thinking right now mostly about my spelling and punctuation errors...i suggest at least half a bottle of red wine, maybe a vibrator, and watch it again. -

Philip Bloom
1 year ago This is wonderful. Wes Anderson is a genius director and this short is powerful in it's simplicity, when watched with it's companion feature it makes it even better. -
