You will find us at the very end of the Knik River Road, an extension of the Old Glenn Highway. This area is a well kept secret: even most Alaskans don’t know the existence of this road, extending 11 miles into the mountains. Yet it’s only one hour by car to Anchorage and just a half hour to Palmer. See below for directions.
Easy travel to Denali, Kenai Peninsula or Valdez
Two of Alaska’s major highways connect at the mount of the Knik River Valley, so whether you are traveling north to Denali National Park, south to Seward and Homer on the Kenai Peninsua or east to Glenallen and Valdez, the Knik River Lodge fits in every itinerary.
