In March of 2010 Richard was feeling sick, losing weight and his lymph nodes were swollen, after talking with his doctor, he decided to get tested for HIV. Richard tested positive, he was 28 years old. The doctor's said he probably had been positive for 4-5 years and didn't know, because his CD4 levels were so low. A month later he ended up in the hospital and was diagnosed with AIDS.
