(Unofficial Video) This is a video I created for a media production techniques class at UNC Asheville in February of 2009. I shot this in HD using a Smith Victor light kit. The idea for the video was to explore kinetic art through film. This is a surfactant experiment with milk, dish soap, oil, water, and food coloring. The symmetrical shots are created using Final Cut Pro's kaleidoscope effect. All asymmetrical shots are part of the actual experiment, sped up and/or reversed in time.

I had a lot of fun shooting this and there is a lot of room for more experimentation.
