A Road Comedy for the Strange of Heart

2007 New Jersey Young Film and Videomaker of the year, Matthew John Lawrence returns with a continued exploration of the offbeat and surreal in his latest effort, Shoebox Redhead. A heart-broken 20-something, Matt (played by the writer/director), is taken on a life-altering journey through landmarks of the Jersey Shore after he stumbles upon a magical Polaroid camera at a garage sale. Along with his best friend (Ryan Conrath) and a sardonic clown (Robert Ribera), Matt sets out to uncover an explanation behind the mysterious workings of the camera and the redhead who haunts him through its pictures.
