We Made It to the TOP @ the Manhattan International Film Festival!

(Congratulations! Our jury panel has selected your film, “Siopao”, to receive a screening at the upcoming Manhattan International Film Festival (MIFF)! )

This makes us WOW! I just got received an email from the Director of the Cultural Programs of World youth Alliance Foundation that our short film entry “SIOPAO”(Steamed bun) made it to the top @ the Manhattan International Film Festival!

Out of 50 entries, SIOPAO made it to be part of the finalist! hurray!!!!!

(old post) We made it to TOP 15!!!

Out of 50 video entries in Manhattan International Film Festival our Short Film “SIOPAO”(Steamed Bun) made it to top 15.

the juries of the said festival will decide next week who will be the final 6 short film video Directors that will make it to Manhattan.

Please support and pray for SIOPAO can make it to the final 6 and represent Philippines in Manhattan Film Fest.
Lets make our country proud! =)

This is a story about a boy (King) who wanted a siopao (steamed bun) to suffice his hunger. Instead of asking money from is father (Daigo), he decided to earn the money for himself. After all his struggles, he finally had enough money and bought the siopao but on his way, he passed by an old beggar and decided to give the siopao instead.
