The Internet of Things describes a growing interest and economy around the production of buildings, vehicles, objects and clothing with sensing and communication capabilities, which allows physical things to communicate with each other, their creators and users.
Featuring 40 makers and 40 technologists from across the UK, the aim of the workshop was to what these new technologies might mean for world of craft? How could these new 'smart' capabilities be incorporated into more traditional making practices and what can the craft sector contribute to innovation in this field?
