This work builds on the 'BBC Stories' collaboration between the BBC, Queen Mary University of London and Goldsmiths College University of London, and as always, Doctor Who is copyright the BBC.
Footnote: in a dramatic leap since when I first wrote the visualisation code, not only does the browser now run it at 60fps, but it does so quite happily composited over a video firing callback events. I am amazed. However, unamazingly, I'm missing the hardware to capture that smooth, crisp 1080P DVI signal, so this uses a crippled screengrab for now.
