At first sight, I was so into the video I didn't understand it. Then I watched it again and said "Oh F***, the camera!!". Nice you have sense of humor :)
Ah, Oregon.
But other than that, rice works quite excellently for most water/electronic incidences as long as nothing shorted and fried when the water hit. I've had good luck with phones and flash memory (and the memory was even after a full wash cycle).
