Nebraska Entrepreneur recently attended at talk at the Raikes School for Business and Management at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. The speaker was Justin Hall and the topic focused on game development and the process of starting a company.

Justin started a product called PMOG and later changed to The Nethernet which focused on making web browsing into a game format. The company started in July 2007 and ran until December 2009. In that time they raised two rounds of funding, hired and de-hired 12 people and built a user base of around 130,000.

In this candid discussion Justin talks about the joys and tribulations of the startup and where things went wrong. Topics included games, mobile, web, internet, San Francisco, startups, scale and focus.
