What's really astounding is if you watch the mouth movements SUPER closely, you notice there's really not all that much there. There are no major Ooos and Ssss or anything as extreme as you see in most animation books. But it's so smooth and the REST of the animation is so gorgeous that it works wonderfully.
Sometimes I think many animators (myself included) get so fixated on lip sync that this is a great reminder that while it's important, it's not MOST important.
