Norway and the Northern Lights 3D Anaglyph
10 months ago
This is an extract from a video I made about a recent trip to northern Norway. We travelled to the town of Karasjok, 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle to film the Aurora Borealis. It was bitterly cold never getting above -20c and often below -30c. it was filmed using a Sony EX1 and EX3 in a side by side rig.

Aurora**2 is the first successful stereoscopic video of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. The 3D film, made for gallery projection, clearly shows the structure and movement of this elusive and spectacular phenomena. The project was a collaboration between Brian McClave and physicist George Millward.
