Drum Cannonry is a game about attacking and countering with rhythm patterns, playable with computer keyboards, MIDI controllers and real drum sets. One player owns cannons on the left side and attempts to destroy his opponent's cannons (right side) while avoiding overheat.
The project was discontinued (its website, documentation and demo are no longer available).
The game was commercially released in Fall 2011 with a singleplayer mode, online 1v1 multiplayer and the ability to add custom music. Initially called Tambour (and its free version Tambourine) during the beta stage, the name was changed to Drum Cannonry for its final release. The project received good press and a fair amount of downloads, but generally failed to convince as a product. The project was suspended one year later to start working on short films again.
