SYNOPSIS:
WILD DOG is an observational documentary film drawing us into the lives of the people struggling to stem the tide of companion pet over population and its impact on society.

After having explored the options of sterilization and rehoming, close to a million companion pets are still euthanized by animals shelters in South Africa every year.

What makes the story moving and engaging is the compassion with which such emotional demanding work is done.

The victories of small struggles, and the possibilities of love and hope against a stark landscape of rejection and abuse sets the canvas for this landmark story.
