On 11/30/2011, from 7pm to 9pm, representatives of Selig Enterprises and Walmart met with neighbors living on the Church St. side of Suburban Plaza to explain their plans for a new Walmart SuperCenter and renovation of the rest of Suburban Plaza (which originally opened in 1960). Suburban Plaza is a quarter mile northeast of the city limit of Decatur, GA, which is roughly six miles east of downtown Atlanta. This first part, which is 31 minutes long, includes introductory presentations by the Selig and Walmart reps. Later parts will include Q&A for both Selig and Walmart (most submitted in advance, and some live from the audience of about 50 people at the DeKalb Medical Theatre. Watch DecaturHeights.com for the following parts, covering the Q&A, which gets rather spirited at times. This was created by Kell's Angels Productions.
