As part of a federal initiative being implemented in 17 communities across the U.S. that is linking hospitals, ambulances, clinics and public health organizations to a health information exchange, AdEase created a series of marketing videos to educate San Diego citizens about how this technology will improve the quality of health care. This video from the series gives examples where the health information exchange will benefit patients, explains how the technology safeguards patient health information, and gives instructions on how patients can provide consent to participate.
