VLA = beep boop beep robots.
It's been fun to be an observer and occasional participant in your cinematic journey, Tom, and I look forward to the final film.
A delightful piece that just makes you want more of the same good stuff.
I feel so honoured of having worked along with you guys in such amazing sceneries, and specially of having shared so may great moments along the journey. I fell in love with what we were seeing then and I've fallen in love now, once again. And that, I think, is the magic of this type of work. Falling in love.
p.s the text work is killer

TimeScapes should surely be THE most pre-ordered film ever?
This doesn't make any sense.

That opening drive shot down the road is perfect.
This movie is already Amazing!

If 24mm f/1.4 turns out to be too shallow, hit 14mm or 16mm f/2.8 and that might work better, although you gotta make up for the shutter speed. And you can't go much faster than a couple / few MPH.
Tom, any guesses at your shutter speeds for the moving time lapses? My friend (vimeo.com/sgphotos) and I are going to hit up J-Tree in January for some drivelapsing, and we're still just theorizing about which lenses to take and what shutter speeds we need to hit. Assuming a D700 and 5D mk2 at our disposal.
Thanks,
=Matt=
Looking forward to watching Timescapes, Tom!
CANNOT WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom, truly look forward to see this buddy, and own a copy to share with friends at our place!!
Definitely am showing this off to everyone and will talk about this for a while regularly...

But seriously...oh my god so beautiful. The VLA looks like cute robots dancing.
I WANT ADVENTURES WITH YOU AND DR.!!!
I think I could watch that shot from Big Sur for hours.
Amazing.
Downloading the 2560x1440 copy now, brilliant stuff - thanks for including that!
All the best
