Community Beacons are a series of Kinetic Light Drums that light up when played without any batteries. The sound vibrations are converted to light allowing players to communicate over a distance, uniting and enlivening the community with rhythms of sound and light. Check out the “Making of The Community Beacons” video to see how these drums light up without batteries or external power.
