There were so many things about Tara and Sean's wedding that made it truly special and unique. Although we only met Tara + Sean a week prior to their wedding at the JT Walk and Beach Party, they are the type of people you meet that feel like immediate friends. And filming their wedding, we felt like family. As you can see in their film, Tara is carrying their first daughter, Scarlett Olivia, who is due December 22nd. It was only a couple weeks after Sean returned home from Afghanistan, and only a couple weeks after he proposed to Tara, that they unexpectedly found out they were having a baby! We know Scarlett is going to be a blessed baby, because there is so much love amongst Tara, Sean, and their entire family.
A couple of our favorites of the day:
- Tara's family is from New York and huge Giants fans. Sean and his family are from New York and huge Buffalo Bills fans. Imagine the irony that the two teams were playing one another on their wedding day. It was so cute watching them during their surprise first look and immediately after the ceremony checking the score of the game - the Giants won!
- Tara's grandparent's were celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary that day. Tara and Sean got Shockley's Sweet Shoppe to make a cake (to resemble a cake that would have been made almost 60 years ago) for them to cut immediately after their own cake cutting. You will see this and an adorable picture of them in their youth in the film.
- PBR, Converse, and Cupcakes...enough said.
- Go back and pause your film during the clip of their escort cards...they are precious!
