Breanna Roetto, 25, of Redding was killed Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, after she attempted to pass two vehicles while traveling south on Highway 89 about 2:20 p.m. and crashed head-on into a Burney big rig hauling wood chips. The woman’s vehicle had been reported about an hour earlier as being driven erratically near Shingletown. The 56-year-old driver of the chip truck, Santana Perez, reportedly wasn’t injured.
