This historic annual event was made even more famous after Steve McQueen and Malcolm Smith raced it in the motorcycle film 'On any Sunday' back in the 1970's, ever since he watched that film Jamie Robinson has always wanted to take part in the Elsinore Grand Prix, his chance came this year as when he raced his $650 1979 YZ400.

With many different races held over the colorful weekend, it is also an event that attracts many different types of riders and their varied machinery, an event that see's girls, boys, men and women race classics to modern and 2, 3 and 4 wheeled motorbikes all getting a chance to play in the dirt and streets around Elsinore in Southern California.

Some 125 riders race for ca$h is the 'Harvey Mushman 100 mile' main event while other like Jamie take part, get dirty and pretend to be like their heroes from back in the day, either way it's a historic and great fun event that leaves you with a big smile and lots of memories.
