The Sakai family are traditional rice and cherry farmers in the North East of Japan. Because they don't rely on pesticides and other chemicals, lots of the work they do is by hand, and they need plenty of help. They are a large family with four generations under one roof, and three young children (including Beiju, the real start of the film), so extra help is always welcome. You'll learn lots of new skills, can visit the local area, and will get to eat lots of incredible Yamagata food.
