Mature Christians understand the great liberty there is in Christ. But in the exercise of that liberty, they must be sure that they are not “sinning against [their] brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak.” In 1 Corinthians 8:7-13, Paul is clear that if in the exercise of Christian freedom you cause a brother to stumble, “you sin against Christ.” Pastor Mike explains how mature Christians can show true, Christ-like love to their weaker brothers.
