On the lens

okay, this brings up a good question for me... anyone else notice that black dot to the left of center? i had issues with a dead pixel when i shot with the 5dmk2, it was tiny but noticeable, especially at 1080p.

the black dot in this clip feels like dust on the sensor or something which wouldn't be a problem with a still because you could photoshop it out, but with video, forget it. anyone else noticing this with this camera?

any comments?????

It's a dust spot on the sensor and since this is a loaner camera from Canon I can't clean it myself and have to let them do it... Simple fix, not a dead pixel...

it just sucks because there's no way of telling until you get home and look at your footage on a bigger screen!

if it's not one thing its another with these intermediate cameras.
