The Alaska Highway officially ends in Delta Junction, Alaska. Many people feel that it really starts in Fairbanks since when it was built thats where they planned on building it to but a road already existed between Delta Junction and Fairbanks. Either way its a heavily forested and sparsely populated road. As part of our bicycle ride from Alaska to Argentina we rode the entire length of this highway
