On October 15th 2011, adidas team athlete, Sasha DiGiulian became the first American women to climb the grade 9a (5.14d) with her historic ascent of "Pure Imagination" in Kentucky's Red River Gorge. Keith Ladzinski and Andy Mann (Three Strings Media) were there to capture her efforts and tell her story.

@ A_Spicy_Nacho - Hey there. Thanks for the comment. First off, Sasha is not the first female in the world to climb 9a. She is the first American. Also, the reason we edited the film this way was for a more general audience. The ascent took 13 minutes, which is a long time for most viewers. We do, however, have the uncut footage and may release this to anyone interested in the near future. Cheers!
