It took everything we had to survive our tour of California. We rode with grace and grit. We took to the tour some style, and of course, our curiosity and penchant for story. But to be sure, we also took all the muscle and lung we had, and we just barely had enough. We are not pros, this isn’t what we do for a living—in fact, most of us had never put more than a few days of anywhere close to this sort of mileage together. We weren’t at any point deluded about how fast we were, we knew that even under the best of circumstances our times would be nothing less than anemic in comparison to the pros. In fact, this was part of the reason to ride it, to do our best and relish in the results.

Does Rapha want to help someone do a 1000 mile time trial on a fixie that goes from Ca to Co? Help me discover what no other person has done for time and with witness' to share the experience and the reality of something very very big.

Congrats to the Riders on a great journey and Well Done to the video crew. I really wish there were more episodes to watch, they were so well put together and they really helped us connect to the riders and the Tour.

    Awesome job everyone!

Rapha, Awesome is an often overused superlative, but in this case very fitting for describing the Continental Team's effort and accomplishment in their Tour of California. Pushing aside the quality of the actual rides as well as the accompanying internal challenges each of the team members had to have endured can never, and perhaps shouldn't be public domain given the profoundly personal quality of those aspects of riding, but, what a beautiful and honest rendering Rapha has presented here. The visceral quality of the dogged determination, teamwork and camaraderie , which I believe are the cornerstones of what makes cycling such an amazing and compelling endeavor are wonderfully captured.
It has been wonderful to have these videos as portals into the zeitgeist of the team for the whole Tour. Incredibly, these videos capture and relate the real epic the team undertook. I'd like to say unequivocally that the entire production of the Rapha videos are top-shelf. Starting with the choice of type font, to the sound and video editing, the music selection and wonderful cinematography, all simple tasteful and artistic. Bravo to all of Team Rapha.

Great series for you and Rapha. I'm looking forward to other shorts hopefully this summer? Also I noticed the music is a slight variation to your original Rapha video.
