International channel, BBC Entertainment, serves an eclectic audience of entertainment lovers throughout Latin America, SE Asia, India, Poland and Africa. Three idents were required to specify the genres: Drama, Comedy and Light Entertainment. The channel's contemporary, vibrant and sophisticated values needed to be communicated in a universal manner that was neither culturally nor geographically specific. Using the elegance and simplicity of water fountains, the idents are suitably modern and engaging.
