From November 30, 2011 -- Second hour with Dr. Hildegarde Staninger.
In the second hour of this week’s program, Dr. Staninger welcomes Dr. Gary Marchant, Lincoln Professor of Emerging Technologies, Law & Ethics at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, to discuss, among other related topics, his presentation on Emerging Technologies and the Future of Law, dealing with nanotechnology and the law and showing its toxicological and pathology effects upon the human body.
A primary concern of possible dangers of nanotechnology is its inability to be detected by most people. Since nanotech works at a microscopic level, there is a possibility that it could accidentally be absorbed, inhaled or otherwise enter in the human body without detection. Since these are synthetic materials, they can, as mentioned before, be mistaken by our bodies as carbohydrates and accidentally treated as such. And if they enter into fat molecules, turning into hard fat, then our metabolism needs to be increased, and a product like Mega Mango aids in just that.
