Need some inspiration? See how bikes can bring people together, across cultures, in this digital story!
In 2011, the bike union's partner organization, CultureLink Settlement Services, offered a unique opportunity to nine youth from around the world. The "Pathways to Green Engagement" program introduced environmental organizations and issues, encouraged cycling as an affordable, healthy and convenient form of transportation, and fostered fun and friendship.
The bike union was proud to include Pathways participants in our community outreach team, and to witness their growing confidence as they became more settled in Toronto through this special program.
"Pathways to Green Engagement" was funded by the Government of Ontario.
"Green Paths" was produced by Rani Sanderson of Ice Cream Truck Stories.
