Don Gillespie is a native of Port Coquitlam, BC. He is a veteran environmental activist, and is currently fighting to preserve the Riverview Hospital Lands.
Gillespie Mountain, the highest peak in Pinecone-Burke Provincial Park, was named after Don for his hard work building trails and helping to protect the area.
