so, i found this deep into a hard drive...

in 1994, i graduated from nyu's tisch school of the arts with this short film, a bastardization of everything i held dear at the time. but while aping spielberg sentimentality, stealing oliver stone iconography and appropriating twilight zone veneer might have been part of the learning process in a culture in which we are constantly told that "everything is a remix," it is sadly apparent that i did not have enough conviction for the story i was telling for it to come off as anything but well-intentioned theft.

and even though i have still not, since then, felt a need for narrative cinematic storytelling, i do hold a special place in my heart for it as my first cogent, if uneven, attempt at designing something that coalesced all i thought i knew into a language i thought i spoke.

enjoy...
