Coreography: Enzo Celli
Fragile by Enzo Celli is a performance freely inspired by the diary of Vaslav Nijinsky. Characterized by a dreamy atmosphere, the setting of the story is an imaginary world that represents the great dancer’s mind at the peak of its madness. Dancers on stage are projections of the different states of Nijinsky’s madness. What happens on stage during the performance stems from madness and the latter gives birth to an exploration that get sorted into the absurd. Hilarity and poetry are together with madness, the basic elements that characterize this performance, while feelings as anger, loneliness, melancholy, vanity and the desire for omnipotence are the different facets of a personality in which everybody can be mirrored. So spectators sharing each other’s state of madness, have the possibility to catch that breath of art that they use to lose in their everyday lives.
