This was a project for a great fantasy book called "Glory Rose and the Gloaming" where I was the visual effects supervisor. The final book trailer can be found at:

This was the first shot we finished and I thought it was so much fun that I had to share it before the final video was done (with permission of course).

This breakdown shows the technical aspect of how the shot was filmed and the techniques used to composite it into its final result using such simple processes as rotoscoping and rig removal.
