This is wonderful. So inspiring to see the respect he has for the instrument, almost as though it were a living, breathing thing.

Wondeful film. To see all of those pianos in bits, you see what an incredible fusion of wood, metal, art and science each and every instrument really is...

What a wonderful film. This man cares for each instrument he has to break down and feels for its demise. At the same time he tries to reuse each of the parts. He has a true passion for what he does. As a musician, one can relate to his attachment, passion, and dedication to what he does.

Its the case that the store and the owner are the same "one" , a deep blend ...when he dies , many years from now ...the store will lose its soul ...and, consequently , it ll die as well...
Great color , great mix , great felling ...short, amazing job ...

Amazing, it really took me to France, in this man's shop for 3 minutes. I felt like I was with him, spending time. What a wonderful story. I love his quote about what being alive is, just a piano, water, a book and that's all he needs. Great cinematography. This wasn't something without any fabric or authenticity, not like some of the graffitti documentaries I've seen, time and time again. Very interesting and entertaining. His French was music to my ears as well. Good job!!

Beautiful film. I like it how he talks about "killing" a piano. He has a deep love for pianos. People like him should be cherished, too bad it will become very difficult for him to survive.

  • Beautiful, it's such a pity such stores and craftsmanship are declining. The romanticism and especially the words by Marc at the end ring very true these days, when we want or require too much in life.

I hope your movie will play it's part in showing this to others. It at least did it for me!
