Grant carved the deer a couple weeks ago..
Well they asked for a Snowman and some snowflakes.
Truthfully this was a test. Hard Maple Log\ no soft pine stuff. His hammer style puts a strain on the saw bar and the chain but this electric saw held up well - impressive.

The finish was created by a Rockwell grinder,we used a flapper disk.. ( rough sandpaper put together like a grinding wheel) keep you fingers away from this, it will shorten them.
