Field-testing our bags is a tough assignment. But hey – somebody has to do it… Together with Marco Tortato of the Manfrotto School of Xcellence and world renowned landscape photographer Adam Barker, our creative team embarked on a 2 days trek to the Ramon Crater, the world's largest erosion crater, and the mountains surrounding the Dead Sea. Equipped with Kata bags packed with photography gear (mainly Manfrotto supports), supplies and maps, we rappelled down cliffs, explored the beautiful Ramon nature reserve and underwent an intensive landscape photography workshop that polished our skills and tested the capabilities of our bags to the max. We got to experience our own Kata bags first-hand and see how they perform outdoors, while rap jumping down a steep cliff or setting up to shoot a perfect sunrise.
