This was something I wanted to know.
I find that my drives and overall PT performance slow to a crawl when doing Beat Detective.
Usually about 3/4 through the song I have to clear unused regions every few bars, even with only a few tracks. It can take a full minute just to save the session.
I'm wondering if splitting the audio up across two drives would be a better option.
What do you think?
