Originally slated to spend 6 weeks in Thailand/SE Asia, we both got wickedly sick in Pai, the night after riding the elephant in the river, about a week into the leg. After realizing we were not going to get through Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam after spending 1 week just waiting for our symptoms to go away, we hightailed it south to the islands to get our strength back. Needless to say, there isn't a lot we did. 15lbs each were expelled by us!
