    holy shit! i dont see any real shape\barcode that Surface could recognize to differentiate between the cards. then how does it do it!? sweet! :]

    its most likely reading the arrangement and size of the dots in the upper right on the back of the card. It would have been nice to see the backs of both cards they used to know for sure.
