Earth Day / Ziua Pamantului

Ecology and respecting nature is an ongoing theme at Gradinita Rasarit, but in April when we prepare for Earth Day it becomes the center of the curriculum. The children recycled paper, made a message about taking care of the earth on the paper, made drawings about pollution, and went on a special walk in the forest - looking for fairies who can only seen by children because they are upset with grownups who do not take care of the earth....
