    NIN vs. Rolling Shutter.

    Coolest fucking video ever?
  • Scott Zoller 2 years ago
    Rolling Shutter vs who cares?
  • Iain 2 years ago
    not me
  • Robert Lewis 2 years ago
    I care.
Think how much better this footage would be without the rolling shutter. Don't get me wrong, great to see this, and it's a great way to breakout of the whole camera on a dolly at the stage we usually see. But hopefully they are looking at better camera options. I'm considering the 5D mkII for some projects, but I'll stay away for heavily strobed events. It comes down to proper tool for any given job.

i posted this to demonoid if you have an account there, or you can just download it even though it says you can't - if you use Firefox, get the addon called FlashGot (there are probably others) and it lets you download embedded media from webpages.

oh, and i hope we continue to get more of these as often as possible!! Thanks Rob and Trent!

As always Trent & Co. deliver a killer performance. I LOVE NIN of coarse-but always love the LIVE versions of their songs as they convey a different energy when they have the energy of the crowd spurring them on :-) ( thats what i'd like to think anyway)

I was there and saw this. without a doubt this is the best Part 2 in the history of live music. After a 40 minute power failure this is what we were treated to. and this was just the beginning.

as for the rest of the world If you dont have a ticket yet.

this was amazing, and looks fantastic on my new mac! They (or should I say Rob!) really spoil us with this top notch footage and sound quality. But the whole new keyboard thing trent and the gang are doing is brilliant and new. Violent Kraftwerk :)

btw if anyone hasn't seen the 'Burn' footage they uploaded recently I would check that out too - it's too awesome to comprehend!

OK - this is NIN! I can't believe how fucking awesome the canon 5d looks - We were given a view from inside the eye of the storm!

I used to think robin coming back to the band was pointless - I really missed the chaos that arron north brought - but after this video I have no doubt that robin is 200X superior to north.

The aussies are truly lucky to see nin go in a new direction as a quintet.

    Oh yeah - Alessandro who?
