    Patrick, the larger the resistor, the slower the charge will "drain" from the capacitor. Experiment with different resistors for fun!

    Cool info, but... Why? What is the purpose of a capacitor? If you're getting power from a source, why do you need the capacitor? What does it do for you? I'm not clear on this at all
